Hi Community,

I have a PI Performance Equation using which I need to check the time for which an equipment was "Running" in past 24 hours, 1 month and 3 months. To achieve this, I used the 'TIMEEQ' function to calculate the time for which the Status tag was in "RUNNING" state.

TIMEEQ('TAG', '*-24h', '*' ,"RUNNING")

TIMEEQ('TAG', '*-30d', '*' ,"RUNNING")

TIMEEQ('TAG', '*-90d', '*' ,"RUNNING")

The performance equation works for 24 hours but fails for 1 month and 3 month. I tried to evaluate the calculation in PI SMT and even there the PI PE fails to execute and shows 'Calc Failed'. I tried trial and error method to check the period for which it might work. I tried 15 days and it works but when I increse to 20 days it fails.

Is there any limit for the time period in 'TIMEEQ'. Doesn't it allow for a time period greater than 15 days? I am using PI Server 2012 (3.4.390.18)

Please let me know if there is any alternate way other than PI-ACE.
