This is the recording for the vCampus-exclusive webinar titled "PI for StreamInsight - Practical Use Cases and Implementations" (part of the "Builders' Café" webinar series) that was held on July 27th, 2011.

Microsoft StreamInsight is a new Complex Event Processing (CEP) engine from Microsoft that allows you to apply analytics to streams of events. It is a low-latency engine with which users can process and analyze data using Microsoft .NET and the natural query semantics of Language Integrated Query (LINQ).

PI for StreamInsight enables you to perform analytics on PI Data using Microsoft StreamInsight. In this webinar, we are happy to have Logica join us to share their insight and experience in working with Microsoft StreamInsight and PI for StreamInsight as well as present examples using both products.

You can download the code snippets that were used to generate the demos in this webinar. However, note that portions of this demo used the proprietary intellectual property of Logica, plc. These references have been removed from the archive. Because of this, the solution will not build in Visual Studio. The queries and the code represented in the demo is the actual source code used for the demos and are valid once the Logica proprietary components are replaced.
