I´m loocking for an permanent, performant way to transfer data from PI into an ORACLE DB.
There are two requirements:
1) accessing Data regularely for creating reports, KPI´s etc. for an Energy Monitoring System (not storing this data into ORACLE)
2) copying data (for selected TAGs) every 15 minutes into ORACLE
I found the "PI ODBC Driver 2015 and Oracle Database Gateway Configuration Guide" (see: https://techsupport.osisoft.com/Downloads/File/cd006d23-a651-4bf9-b492-376f6440b241 ).
But I´m not sure if this is the best solution for my requirement. Has anyone experience with this architecture?
