AF Formula Attributes VS AF Analytics Functions

Are there any plans to extend AF Formula Based Attributes so that they can use the functions found in AF Analytics? I'd like to be able to have attributes that take advantage of TagValue functions and time functions. For instance, suppose I have a future value tag 'prediction' that I am writing predicted values into. I have exposed 'prediction' as the AF Attribute 'prediction' on my element, and I want to define the attribute 'predicted_peak' as TagMax('prediction','*','*+1h'). Obviously, I could have an Analytic Analyses that would do this for me, but that would have to be replicated many times over if I want to be able to trend my 'predicted_peak' attribute. Alternatively, I could write a custom program in C# or other language and store the result in a pi tag, but that has complications as well (installation, deployment, maintainability, etc.)
