Default is 17/10/2016 12:00:00 AM W. Australia Standard Time (GMT 08:00:00). Just want the date and time?
Please try following.
dd/MM/yyyy hh:mm:ss AP
It shows "17/10/2016 10:39:26 AM" in my environment.
For individual Notification's timestamp display format settings, I believe we could not achieve it by PI Notification 2012.
I think Mike Zboray can comment that.
You can set it by PI System Explorer.
Select Notifications > Tools > Notification Settings > Global Configuration > Timestamp DIsplay Format.
Thanks for this, what is the format code to to produce
17/10/2016 12:00:00 AM.
This is obviously a global setting, there is no way of having different formats in different notifcation messages?
Just looked up the format of the date/time stamp, so have that sorted, still curious about formats for individual messages thanks.
I cannot find the following in PI Notifications 2016 R2 SP1
Select Notifications > Tools > Notification Settings > Global Configuration > Timestamp Display Format.
I would like to change all timestamps to be in 24-hour format.
If you use PI Notifiction 2016 R2, then you can change it from AF Configuration database.
OSIsoft > PIANO > TimeFormat attribute
is there an option to suppress the time Zone information as well?
example: Alarm Startzeit: 13.12.2016 16:42:35 W. Europe Standard Time (GMT+01:00:00)
I went to the following and did not see a TimeFormat attribute.
"AFServer" > Configuration > OSIsoft > PIANO > ???
Do I manually create one? Also what Value would I put in the manually created attribute?
Please try creating TimeFormat attribute.
You need to put it to two places.
It also need to have TimeFormat attribute. (Please put the same value as OSIsoft > PIANO > TimeFormat)
I could get following Email that contains correct format.
Hi sorry, does the following mean that I need to create a child Element in PIANO that is labeled TimeFormat and has an attribute TimeFormat? Also does the value read as a string?
"It also need to have TimeFormat attribute. (Please put the same value as OSIsoft > PIANO > TimeFormat)
I could get following Email that contains correct format."
Following 2 elements should contain TimeFormat attribute. Value type is String.
Please let us know the results.
Thanks that was very clear and it works now!
