Is there any command to check particular tag message log in command prompt utilities?
In SDK utility itself you can filter out otherwise you can check on the command line utility for options available to filter message based on given mask.
I have found one more thread related to a power shell you can check this out -
Using the older version of PI Tools for Powershell I had a script that filtered the PI Message logs for a certain mask, worked beautifully. I uploaded the latest and Get-PIMessage no longer filters the message log.
Here are the command-line options Siddhartha was probably referring to:
The pigetmsg utility can be called in the PI\adm directory.
To find messages related to a particular tag, an approach could consist in using the -msg switch with the tag's pointid surrounded by wildcards (for example, "*15247*").
You can also try to use the tagname instead of the pointid, but I would expect less results.
You can find the pointid of a given tag in PI SMT > Point Builder > System tab.
