Each PI tag ends with a suffix like .PV , .CO, .SP. Some one please share me the list of suffixes with and what it stands for/purpose.
The naming convention of PI Tags is up to the PI Administrator when creating tags on the PI Data Archive and can have any name so long as the rules discussed in Tag Attribute are followed.
If this question is asking about the specific suffixes used to name tags on your PI System, this would depend on the industry and naming convention at your site. I would recommend getting in touch with a PI System administrator at your site and discussing details of how the naming convention works.
I would also be interested to hear other people's thoughts on this, and if others have lists of "approved suffixes" for use in naming conventions when building PI tags.

Many of these suffixes follow the ISA Tag Naming standard.
Some I've seen in addition to the ones above are
.PE - Perf Equations
.C - Calcs
.Filt - Filtered values (usually based on a noisy PV that is used for an alarming)
.T or Tot - Totallizers
.prod - Production Rate calcs
