Node Error on opening PI ProcessBook

When I try to open a PI ProcessBook which uses ERD features and shows values of attirbutes connected to an AF server, I see the below error -

the following node cannot be found     : 41703

      Replace the server:

(A dropdown showing Options of Servers)

It only shows when the PB file is opened for the first time. On closing this box, the display opens and loads all the values as expected. Can anyone help me with why does this pop up and how can I prevent it?

          Hello Kiran,

Thank you for sharing your questions in PI Square!

Do you recognise the node 41703 as one of your PI Data Archives? Is it possible this was the name or Alias of an old machine to which you used to connect?

A possible workaround to your issue could be adding an Alias to your PI Data Archive in PI SDK Utility with this number so that it is automatically recognised by ProcessBook as the PI Data Archive machine:

PI SDK Utility > PI SDK > Connections > Aliases > Add > write the node number and select your PI Data Archive:

          Kind regards,
