Im in trouble with the PI Buffering Subsystem but it does collecting data to OPC-PI ICU-Data Archive.
Wondering what do i miss in this set up?
appreciate your help
I would suggest to check the configuration by using command pibufss -cfg and check event being written using command pibufss -qs
Also, try to check if buffer subsystem is able to connect to DA servers and is able to send data to all required servers.
You can use the below KB for various commands:
If all work fine you can ignore the above message as it seems to be buffer manager front end error.
Hi Shubhendra Singh
Thank you for you reply.
Currently, the pi buffering manager is already running but i still do check the command of pi buffs. is this already ok?
But when i see on my logs theres an error. Are this errors critical?
But currently my buffering manager is running: I use local account for the services.
Do my setup is ok already or not?
Marked the indicators which shows buffering or not. You buffering is working as it is supposed to be.
Believe it is a single PI server and not a collective. Events in the queue will change automatically and written to PI server. It is growing constantly then you need to check for the issue. Buffer will show Error, Warning in Global Buffering Status and PI Server.
1) cd /d %pihome64%
2) cd bin
3) pibufss.exe -qs (Selected the PI server , if it is collective then type the collective member number)
Similar output in KB with different numbers based on buffering
